Sweetwood to Host a Free Falls Screening and Information Session
WILLIAMSTOWN – Sweetwood of Williamstown Retirement Living Community will be hosting fall health screenings and information session on falls prevention at 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 26th with licensed specialists from Gentiva Health Services.
Sweetwood is located at 1611 Cold Spring Road (Route 7) in Williamstown.
The screenings and presentation will be provided by Gentiva Director of Rehabilitation Ross Davis, MPT, MBA and Tammy Ferry, RN. A significant percentage of emergency room visits among older Americans occur after falls, and certain strategies and exercises can greatly reduce the risk of suffering a fall.
Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
