Margaret M. Guillotte, 88

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Margaret Mary Guillotte, 88, of 19 Sunset Drive died Sunday, May 26, 2013, at her home.

Born in North Adams on Dec. 31, 1924, daughter of Charles F. and Nora V. McCarthy Hanlon, she attended Williamstown schools and graduated from the former Williamstown High School with the class of 1943. She also attended the former St. Luke's School of Nursing in Pittsfield.

Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Guillotte worked at the former Gaevert Film Co. for a short time.

A communicant of the Parish of Sts. Patrick and Raphael, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Her husband, George L. Guillotte, whom she married on May 15, 1948, died on April 5, 1996.

She leaves three daughters, Diane Creek and her husband, James, of Falling Waters, W.Va., Cynthia Mackoul of Great Barrington and Neysa Beaudreau and her husband, Raymond, of Williamstown; two sons, Paul A. Guillotte, with whom she resided, and George Guillotte and his wife, Maureen, of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Jane Hanlon of Williamstown; six grandchildren, James Broderick, Carrie Eirish, Chad Broderick, Amy Guillotte, Heather Beaudreau and Amber Aftosmis; nine great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Anita Hanlon of Williamstown, and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Hanlon, and her sister Mary Hanlon.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Guillotte will be celebrated Thursday, May 30, at 11 from St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
