Iris E. Angeli, 84

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Iris Eleanor Angeli, 84, of 189 Stratton Road died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on June 29, 1929, a daughter of Frank and Emma Pedercini Cimonetti, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Angeli was last employed as the director of food services for the North Adams Public Schools.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, North Adams Police Officer George O. Angeli, died July 8, 1960, in the line of duty.
She leaves a daughter, Claire Angeli of North Adams; two sons, David Angeli of North Sutton, N.H., and George Angeli of Bradford, N.H.; a brother, Frank Cimonetti and his wife, June, of South Orange, N.J.; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Erin, Kristin, Danielle,Craig and Jamie; four great-grandchildren Jude, Winn, Pearl and Iris; a sister-in-law, Angelina Guisti, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Angeli will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 11 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
