WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Owen S. Morris Sr., 72, of Williamstown died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in Adams on Feb. 25, 1941, a son of John and Mary Hughes Morris, he graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams.
Mr. Morris was employed at the former General Electric and Sprague Electric companies and in the construction industry.
He leaves his former wife, Karen Gaddy Carver of North Adams; two sons, Owen Morris Jr. and Craig Morris, both of North Adams; a daughter, Christine Smith of North Adams; a brother, William Morris of Clarksburg, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and his extended family, the caring staff at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Lori Morris, in 1999 and two brothers, John Morris and Donald Morris.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services will take place Friday, Nov. 8, at 10 a.m. at Southview Cemetery, in North Adams. Arrangements by Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals.
