WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Hazel Christine Burdick, 105, formerly of Champagne Avenue died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Savoy on Aug. 26, 1908, daughter of John Cullen and Maude E. Burnett Meacham, she attended school in Savoy.
Mrs. Burdick had been last employed at the former Cornish Wire.
She had been the holder of the Boston Post Cane as oldest resident in the town. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Her husband, Harold Wesley Burdick, is deceased.
She leaves her four grandchildren, Richard Cummings of Pownal, Vt., Mark Burdick and Julie Snow, both of Hancock, and Scott Burdick of Berlin, N.Y., great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Wesley Burdick and daughter, Jeannette Cummings Jones.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside services for Mrs. Burdick will be private. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
