WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — James Stanley Wondoloski, 75, of 10 White Oaks Road died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Greenfield on May 23, 1938, a son of Stanley and Genevieve Winiarski Wondloski, he graduated in 1956 from Drury High School in North Adams, where he played football.
Mr. Wondoloski was employed as a union plumber with Local 104 Plumbers & Pipefitter Union, retiring in 1993.
He was an active member of the Greylock Community Club. He loved cooking the meals for events. He was an avid golfer at Stamford (Vt.) Valley Golf, enjoyed bowling at Greylock Bowl in North Adams and fishing. He was devoted to his family and friends.
He leaves his wife, the former Karen "Kay" Ethier, whom he married Sept. 12, 1959; a daughter, Wendy Ann O'Neill and her husband, Peter, of Adams; a son, James S. "Cricket" Wondoloski of Adams; a brother, Christopher Wondoloski and his wife, Sharon, of North Adams; a grandson, Keven Burda of Adams; a great-grandson, Myles Burda-Lamour of Williamstown; a brother-in-law, Gary Either and his wife, Michelle, of Pittsfield and sisters-in-law Marcia Beer and her husband, David, of Williamstown and Donna Wondoloski of Pittsfield.
He was predeceased by his son Peter Ethier Wondoloski on Nov. 14, 1986, his brother Anthony Wondoloski and his sister, Judith Chesbro.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Wondoloski will take place Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will take place in the spring.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Greylock Community Club through the funeral home.

Words can't describe how sorry I am, and how much I'll miss him, I'm so glad he was around to meet Myles and hold him, I'll miss the times where he could hold myles and put him to sleep like it was nothing. I'll miss the old wise jokes he'd always pull, he will always be remembered and talked about as Myles gets older, He was a good man, and I'm glad I had the chance to meet him. He sure left a mark on my heart as he has done to many.

Dear Kay Wendy and Cricket
So sorry to here about the loss of my Uncle Jimmy. I just wanted let you know how much he will be missed. I remember him as a patient loving husband and father, and a very loved brother of my mother. He was always welcoming and kind and had a easy spirit about life that I hope I have. He was a peaceable person and and was always their for his family.
Please take comfort in the truth of the bible. That Uncle Jimmy is just sleeping in death and will wake soon to never having to suffer or die again. To soon be united with all of his family wife, children, sister and everyone else that he loved. enjoying life again hugging and eating enjoying life once more forever, right here on earth. (Rev 21:3,4 psalms 37:29)
