WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Pauline A. Dean, 95, formerly of 81 Bachand Ave., died Monday, March 31, 2014, at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 13, 1918, daughter of Eugene and Rosalie Denno Foy, she attended the former Notre Dame Parochial School and Drury High School.
Mrs. Dean was employed at the former Sprague Electric Co. for 42 years, until her retirement in 1980.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of the Friendship Club, the Jollee Circle and the Sprague Retirees.
Her husband, Richard E. Dean, whom she married on Jan. 26, 1946, died on Jan. 25, 1994.
She leaves her granddaughter, Kelley Dean, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Richard E. Dean Jr. in 2009, and her siblings Agnes Coons, Eugenia Mahoney, Marion Bienick and Albert Foy.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dean will be celebrated Monday, April 7, at 10 from St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams.
A calling hour will be held Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church in care of the funeral home.
