WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Bernadette Lillian Tatro Jackson, 92, formerly of Williamstown, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in Canada on Aug. 18, 1922, a daughter of Louis and Melida Gagnier Oriet, she attended schools in Canada.
Mrs. Jackson was employed for 25 years at the former Rudnick's Laundry and later at the former General Cable in Pownal, Vt.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Raphael's Church.
Her first husband, Ernest Tatro, died Dec. 11, 1976.
Her husband, David, also predeceased her.
She leaves four daughters, Pauline Ellsworth of Williamstown, Stella Sausville of Bennington, Vt., Linda St. Peter of the state of Florida and Brenda George of Pownal; a son, David Tatro, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Yvonne King of Canada; a brother, Theo Oriet of Canada; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughters Edna LeFaver and Doris Love, and her siblings Donat, Arthur, Arlie, Gabriel, Orella, Stella and Hilda.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jackson will take place Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 from at St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 7, 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
