William A. Miner, 64

December 22, 2015

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — William Alan Miner, 64, of Williamstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at North Adams Regional Hospital.

Born in Rochester, N.Y., on Nov. 14, 1951, son of Paul Benjamin and Mazie Lou Dodge Miner, he graduated from Rush Henrietta High School and furthered his studies at a Bible college.

He was an Army veteran.  

Mr. Miner was the owner and operator of Action Pest Management for the past 30 years.

He attended Community Bible Church, and the Berkshire Dream Center in Pittsfield. He enjoyed boxing, collected antique toys, was a history buff and a fan of the New York Yankees. He could be seen around town riding on his Vespa scooter. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves his wife, Tania Miner, whom he married Jan. 2, 2008; a daughter, Shanah Miner of Readsboro, Vt.; two sons, Caleb Miner of North Adams and Jesse Miner of Adams; three brothers, Robert Miner and Paul Miner, both of the state of Florida, and Carl Miner of Palmyra, N.Y.; a sister, Linda Wells of Canandaigua, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Elissa Fink, Andi Miner, Gianna Fink,and Jeremiah Miner; a stepson, Maksym Petrenko of Williamstown, and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mr. Miner will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 11 from Community Bible Church of Williamstown. Burial will be at a later date in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, N.Y.  

Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Dream Center or the Minor Combat Boxing Youth Scholarship Fund in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA 01247.

I LOVED our visits when you came in to have your
hair done with Elissa & just before I closed Snip's ,with the new baby .
You are in my prayers & toughs trough this difficult & sad time. I know , I have been there
