WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Norma (Jones) Campbell-Hickey, 86, of Vero Beach, Fla, and Williamstown, Mass., died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at the Williamstown Commons in Williamstown.
She was born in New York, N.Y., and graduated from Julia Richmond High School. She subsequently graduated from Central Connecticut State University and later attended The University of Connecticut School of Social Work. She lived much of her adult life in Connecticut.
As the spouse of The Rev. David M. Campbell, she resided in the towns of Kensington, Litchfield and Bolton. She lived for many years in Wethersfield, Conn., and Vero Beach, Fla. She was employed by the State of Connecticut as a medical social worker from 1968-1988. She was predeceased by her second husband, Thomas F. Hickey.
Survivors include her children, Jane Campbell and Lois Campbell Daunis and her husband, Michael; and her grandson, Geoffrey Pawlowski, all of North Adams, Mass.
Funeral notice: Calling hours for Norma Campbell-Hickey will be Monday, March 13, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams.
A private family service will be held on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church with Northern Berkshire Teen Center on the memo line. Checks may be mailed to 43 Eagle Street, North Adams, MA 01247.
