WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Norma (Jordan) Sartori Tower Scott, 86, died on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Sweetbrook Care Facility.
She was born in Clarksburg, Mass., on April 21, 1932, a daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Beauchamp) Jordan. She attended and graduated in 1949 from St. Joseph School and then worked for 20 years at Sprague Electric company (from 1965 to 1985). During this time she was very active in the city, and was a commission member for the Historic Valley Campground; NA Traffic Commission; Drury Band parents, Cadette Scouts, member of the VFW Post #996 and Houghtonville parents group. She also served as a foster grandparent at Brayton School. Norma enjoyed crocheting as well.
Norma relocated to Dover, N.H., in 1985. She then worked at GFS Manufacturing 1985-2001 and married Francis Scott on December 29, 1984; he died June 4, 1995.
Norma leaves her three daughters, Lynn Upton of New Hampshire, Cynthia Spencer of North Adams and Laurie Tuper of North Adams; three stepchildren, Barbara Starr, Karen Dowd and Patricia Bishop; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A brother, Donald Jordan, stepson William Tower Jr., and stepdaughter Laurie Mundy are deceased.
Funeral notice: The funeral for Norma Scott will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapel. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the funeral home.
