WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Stella Rita (Lentine) Maledeo, 102, of Luce Road, Williamstown, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at her home.

Stella was born in North Adams, Mass., on June 11, 1916 a daughter of the late Gaetano and Rose (Como) Lentine. She attended Haskins School in North Adams and then worked at Sprague Electric Co. for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church and loved sewing and hairdressing. 

Stella leaves her daughter, Rose Marie Rougeau and her husband Norman, with whom she made her home; her grandchild, Cheri Rougeau of Williamstown; a sister, Marie Lefevre of North Adams; and several nieces, nephews

Stella was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Clyde Lentine; and a sister, Carmela Piscioneri Biros. 

Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Stella Maledeo will be celebrated on Friday, November 2, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
