Jamie Lawrence Gross, 47, of Williamstown, MA died on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home on Oak Hollow Farm.
He was born in North Adams, MA on February 20, 1973, a son of Lawrence and Marcia (Ashley) Gross. He attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Mt. Greylock High School. He attended Western College in CO and also Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield. Jamie was a self-employed handyman whose specialty was ceramic tile. He was also a heavy equipment operator and did construction throughout the area. He helped his family with the running of their farm, Oak Hollow. Jamie was very proud of his work in Lake City, Colorado with Whinnery Construction, which specialized in river restoration, fish habitat and bank stabilization using native materials with the guidance of geologists and hydrologists from the University of Colorado.
Survivors include his parents as well as a sister- Lynda Gross of Schenevus, NY and a brother- Christopher Gross of Pittsfield and a niece, Harleigh Gross. He also leaves his aunt- Maxine Morin and her daughter, Jennifer Morin-William and their family; his maternal aunt-Cindy Follis of Wareham, MA; his maternal aunt and uncle- Margie and Frank Ashley of Lakeville, MA. He was faithful to his Jack Russell Terriers, Skipper and Addy.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Per his request, there will be no services for Jamie Gross. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
