Recollections & Sympathy For the Family
Post Comment
To Doug's family, I am sorry to hear of his passing. My brothers and I knew him in school and stayed friends for many years. He worked with me at Le Country Restaurant also. He was a handy person in the kitchen. Never a harsh word. Great worker, fisherman, and more. RIP Dougie. Such a great guy to know. Hope the trout are biting in your heavenly brooks above.
Deepest Sympathy and Love,
Caroline George Martel

So sorry I did not see this announcement as we were away. I worked with Dougie at Le Country Restaurant for 16 years. He was quite the character. We had some good laughs. He was a great fisherman, too!
