So sad to see this. I also caddied with Ralph at Taconic in the late sixties and early seventies. I fondly remember him carrying two bags at the same time for two different golfers (double). I thought that was amazing! He would carry bags all day - sometimes two 18-hole rounds in a day - and then walk home to North Adams. If my dad ever saw Ralph he'd pick him up and give him a ride. Ralph outlived most of the people he caddied for, which no doubt is a testament to the value of walking!

I caddied with Ralph at Taconic in the early 70’s. Ralph took such great pride in his work. He always had a smile on his face. Rip Ralph.
