WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —Mr. Robert E. Haley, 89, of Williamstown, died Sunday evening, February 6, 2022, at Williamstown Commons.
He was born in North Adams on October 26, 1932, a son of the late George W. and Mary (Haydock) Haley. He was a lifelong resident of Williamstown, attending Williamstown schools, and graduated from the former Williamstown High School with the Class of 1951.
Bob was a farmer all of his life, working on the Haley family farm on Cold Spring Road and in the Hopper. He enjoyed horse racing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He also had a vast knowledge of local Williamstown history.
He is survived by his wife, the former Beverly A. Boschetti, whom he married on November 13, 1967; three daughters, Robin Keller and her husband, Brian, of North Adams; Becky Tovani of Florida, MA and Holly Seguin and her husband, Edward, of Pittsfield; three grandchildren, Amber Tovani, Haley Seguin and Clarise Seguin; two stepsons, one step daughter, as well as several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his four brothers, George, Charles, James and Richard Haley; and by his two sisters, Marion Sweet and Helen Sweet.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 11th at 11:00 AM in the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel, Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
