Lee E. Rhodes, 82

April 19, 2022

Lee E. Rhodes (Corky) 82 of South Williamstown passed away on the morning of April 19th 2022at Berkshire Medical Center.



Lee was born at the family farm in South Williamstown on October 19th 1939. He was the youngest of nine children. He was the son of the late Robert & Lillian Rhodes



Lee attended schools in Williamstown and worked as a vet tech in the early years. After that he joined the US Navy and worked in the engine room, he was aboard the USS Constellation & the Independence. He was also a member of the American legion #152



Lee worked for Flynn's for 28 years, he started at Volkswagen in Pittsfield and went on to be the General Manager of Flynn's Motors in Bennington Vermont. Lee enjoyed going fishing and hunting and he loved his garden and mowing the meadows.



Lee leaves his beloved family, his wife Sandra (Beaudin)Rhodes, whom he married on September 19th 1964, daughter Karen Lee Enos ( Rhodes) and her husband Eric Enos and several loving nieces and nephews.



He is predeacesed by his 8 siblings, Virginia Wehner, Robert Rhodes, Nora Sylvester, Pauline Chesney, Harwood Rhodes, Benjamin Rhodes, Stanley Rhodes and Linwood Rhodes.



 



A Graveside service for family and friends will take place Saturday April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the family plot in Southlawn Cemetery, South Williamstown, MA. with full military honors. Memorial donations are suggested for the Williamstown American Legion Post #152 through the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. 01247.
