Eloise Margret Harrer,79

Eloise Margret (Davis) Harrer, also known as E. Margret Harrer 79, of North Adams and longtime resident of Williamstown died on Monday, May 2, 2022 at her home. She was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on November 15, 1942 a daughter of the late Kenneth O. & Marie Frances (Antonini) Davis.



Eloise attended schools in Pittsfield, and graduated from the former Williamstown High School. She went on to attend Brigham Young University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Arts in 1967. She primarily was a self employed Home Health Aide in the area. Margret loved music and artwork and rescued  many stray cats over the past decades, finding them homes.



Eloise husband, Holger L. Harrer whom she married October 9, 1970 died in February of 1974. She leaves her daughter, Margaret “Meg” Brooks of North Adams and her son, Holger “HJ” JL (Jami) Harrer of Florida as well at 8 grandchildren, Skyler, Joshua, Jeremy, Autumn, Izabella, Lilyana, Autumn Skye and Sebastian and 2 great grandchildren, Jason and Jaxson. She was predeceased by her brother, Roger M. Davis.



 



FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Eloise Margret Harrer will take place at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.The viewing will take  place Tuesday at Noon followed by the funeral at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. The family request that mask be worn by those in attendance.
