I had the pleasure of having Lessie as my tenant for over 15 years at my home in Williamstown. During that time she became a wonderful friend....she will be missed.

She lived next door to my family on Water Street when she first came to Williamstown. I've heard many stories about her and a few from about how she thought of all the students as her own. She loved them and will be missed.

Rest In Peace Lessie. You were a kind and generous soul.

I only met Lessie once, but her legend lives on at Buxton School. Even after almost 30 years since her retirement, her shoes remain unfilled. Alumni return year after year with stories and great memories. My deepest respects to her friends and family.
