Flora A. Fressola, 97 of Williamstown died on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at home with her daughter and son at her side. She was the best mother and grandmother.

She was born in North Adams, MA on August 30, 1926 a daughter of the late Ralph A. And Rose Estella (McMurphy) Wright.

Flora worked as a phone operator in North Adams and also did house work and was a devoted homemaker and mother, then went to work at Williams College in Food Service and worked there until she retired. Flora was the wife of Jerry Fressola who passed away in 1997.

Survivors include her son Michael Fressola and daughter Mary Fressola. She also leaves two grandsons, Shane Fressola and Jerry Fressola of Bennington, VT; one step granddaughter Jayme Cirrulo of Billerica, MA and her family. Two Nephews John Barrett and Douglas Wright and family; 2 nieces Lynn Myers and family and Sharon Knicker and family.

Flora was predeceased by her two sons, Anthony and Joseph at birth. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Charles Wright and Ralph Wright Jr.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A funeral service to celebrate the life of Flora Fressola will be on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home – WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Calling hours will be from 10-11 AM on Monday. The family would like to thank Patti Barbeau who was such a help to mom the last few years.
