William Fix Sr.. 87

William Howard Fix Sr., 87 of Pittsfield and a former longtime resident of Williamstown died Wednesday February 7, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in North Adams on November 26, 1936 a son of the late Howard and Ida (Blanquart) Fix. He attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Williamstown High School with the class of 1955.
William was a decorated veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and retiring from Excelsior Printing in 2001.
He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Williamstown and later at Charles Church in Pittsfield. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was a former member of the Williamstown American Legion Post # 152 & current member of the Pittsfield American Legion Post # 68. He was an avid New York Giant & New York Yankee Fan.
Survivors include his wife Patricia (Brosseau) Fix whom he married September 17, 1960 in St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams, MA. And his son William H. Fix Jr. of Pittsfield. He was predeceased by a sister Eleanor Fix who died in infancy.
A calling hour will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 1:00p.m to 2P.M.
At the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Ma. followed by a graveside service at the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA.
