Ursula Matuszak

Ursula Helena Matuszak, 92, of 79 Bachard Ave. died Wednesday at Sweet Brook Health Care Center in Williamstown, where she was admitted Feb. 9.

Born in Adams on Oct. 21, 1908, daughter of John and Margozata Story Koscielniak, she attended Adams schools.

Mrs. Matuszak was employed by several nursing and rest homes in Northern Berkshire, including the former Richardson Rest Home. She was also employed by North Adams Regional Hospital and the former Brightwater Paper Co. in Adams.

In her younger years, she was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church. She attended Harvest Christian Ministries in Bennington, Vt.

Her husband, Andrew Matuszak, died in March 1945.

She leaves two daughters, Mary Czubryt of Pittsfield and Theresa Yarter of North Adams; two sons, Andrew Matuszak of North Adams and Paul Matuszak of Williamstown; a brother, Edwin Koscielniak; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Ursula Helena Koscielniak Matuszak will take place at a later date with Pastor Robert Lebert of Harvest Christian Ministries of Bennington, Vt., officiating, at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, which is in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours. Survivors include seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
