Isabelle Harriet Peterson, 92, formerly a resident of Hopper Road and Rye, N.Y., died yesterday at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Williamstown on April 23, 1910, daughter of Clayton and Alice Margaret Haley Babcock, she attended schools in Williamstown and was a graduate of the Albany (N.Y.) City Hospital School of Nursing.
She had been employed for 40 years in New York City as a registered nurse. Her hobbies and interests included traveling, the outdoors, exercising, reading and taking rides in the car.
She was predeceased by her two husbands, Walter Eberhart and Joseph Peterson.
She leaves a sister, Ruth West of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and a brother, Richard Babcock of Williamstown. She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Torey and Edith Haley.
Friends may call at the GEORGE M. HOPKINS FUNERAL HOME Friday evening, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. when the family will be in attendance. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will take place in the family mausoleum in St. Mary's Cemetery, Portchester, N.Y. Should friends desire, contributions in memory of Mrs. Peterson may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Williamstown through the office of the George M. Hopkins Funeral Home, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown, MA 01267.
