Marion Frances Moloff, 84, of 70 Harrison Ave. died Monday at Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center. Born in North Pownal, Vt., on Sept. 8, 1917, daughter of George Parley Kenyon and Bertha Agnes Jones Kenyon, she attended grammar school in North Pownal and Hoosick Falls (N.Y.) High School.
A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Moloff was employed for several years as a nursing aide for the Sweet Brook Nursing Home on Woodcock Road in South Williamstown. She was a longtime troop leader for the White Oaks Brownie troop and a former member of the Needle Club at the White Oaks Congregational Church.
She was a founding member of Williamstown Community Bible Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. She was active in all the church's programs and Bible studies. She leaves her husband, Burton E. Moloff, whom she married May 2, 1936; two daughters, Veronica J. Utman of Bennington, Vt., and Susan C. Peck of Clarksburg; a sister, Ruth Packard of Pittsfield; two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral Services for Marion Frances Kenyon Moloff will take place Thursday at 10 am. at the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown, with Pastor Edward Miller, former pastor of the Williamstown Community Bible Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, are Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Bible Study Ministries or to the charity of the donor's choice through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Survivors include two grandchildren, Melissa Bernier and Lisa Peck; three great-grandchildren, Bradley, Amy and Emily Bernier. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister, George, Percy and Everett Kenyon, and Evelyn Bodro. Mr. Moloff was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, taking care of and nursing many of her family members.
