Geraldine Archambeau

November 17, 2002

Geraldine Archambeau, 86, formerly of North Street, died Saturday evening at Sweet Brook Care Centers.

Born in Lawrence on Aug. 31, 1916, daughter of Harry S. and Emma Wilson Learned, she moved to Williamstown as a child graduated from the former Williamstown High School.

Mrs. Archambeau was employed by the former General Photo Corp. for several years. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, Carole O'Shea.

Her husband, Howard G. Archambeau, whom she married Jan. 13, 1940, died May 23, 1983. Besides her daughter, of Tyngsboro, she leaves a sister, Madeline Beverly of Williamstown; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Geraldine Archambeau will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Williamstown Ambulance Service through the office of George M. Hopkins Funeral Home, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown, MA 01267.

She also leaves her son-in-law, Richard H. O'Shea; two grandchildren, Cathleen Davilli and her husband, Barry, of Westminster, and Thomas K. O'Shea of Mattapoisett; two great-grandchildren, Gianni and Francesca Davilli of Westminster, and her brother-in-law, Ernest Beverly of Williamstown. Her family and home were her main interests.
