WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Miguel Jesus Couture, 16, of 61 Bridges Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Nicaragua on April 11, 1986, son of Barbara Couture of Williamstown, he was an 11th-grade student in a home-based education program at Mount Greylock Regional High School.
He enjoyed music, the beach and spending time with friends.
Besides his mother, he leaves two sisters, Leah Couture and Katrina Couture, both of Williamstown; six brothers, Patric Couture, Ramon Couture, Noll Couture, Micah Couture, Peder T. Couture and Jordan Couture, all of Williamstown; his maternal grandfather, George Couture of Williamstown; and longtime caregivers Janice Zieba, Susan Drummond and Jacquie Schlesinger, and many friends.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jody M. Couture, on Jan. 17, 2000.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The family of Miguel will receive friends at the family home at 61 Bridges Road in on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the Make A Wish Program or to the Berkshire Medical Center Pediatric Bereavement Program through the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, which is in charge of the arrangements.
