Mary R. MacDonald, 75, of 93 Nutmeg Lane, The Spruces, died Saturday at Sweet Brook Health Care Center.
Born in North Adams on July 12, 1925, daughter of Joseph and Celeste V. "Sally" Olivier Tallarico, she was a 1942 graduate of Drury High School. She also took several banking courses.
Mrs. MacDonald was a banker in the Norwalk, Conn., area where she served as vice president and secretary. She retired in 1985.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in North Adams. She enjoyed sewing and needlepoint.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams, by the Rev. Daniel O'Hear, pastor. Burial will be in the spring in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, will be Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Sweet Brook Residence Council through the funeral home.
