Arthur Joseph Rupprecht, 91, of 96 Bachand Lane, died yesterday at North Adams Commons. He had been there since July 2000.
Born in Adams Feb. 25, 1912, son of Frank and Mary Charbonneau Rupprecht, he attended Adams public schools.
He was an employee of the former Arnold Print Works, retiring in February 1977 after 33 years of service.
Prior to that he worked for the Adams Highway Department.
His wife, the former Mary Falco, whom he married in North Adams on June 19, 1933, died July 15, 1998.
He leaves one son, Robert A. Rupprecht of Savoy, seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by another son, Larry Rupprecht, who died May 26, 1964.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial is planned for Monday, April 14, at 10 in St. Thomas’ Aquinas Church. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Reception following in Notre Dame Recreation Hall.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 in the McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME. The family suggests donations in his memory to the St. Thomas Church Fund at P.O. Box 231, Adams, MA 01220 or to a charity of the donor’s choice, through the funeral home, 6 Liberty St., Adams, MA 01220.
