Nancy Navom

Nancy Navom, 49, of Arnold Street died Monday morning in an automobile accident on Route 7.
Born in Pittsfield on April 30, 1954, daughter of John Crosby Sr. and Kathryn Bailey Crosby of Canaan, N.Y., she was a 1972 graduate of Chatham (N.Y.) High School.
She also graduated from the licensed practical nursing program at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y. She was pursuing her bachelor's degree in nursing through Berkshire Community College and would have graduated in May 2004.
She moved to Williamstown in 1978 from Canaan, N.Y.
Ms. Navom was an emergency medical technician with the North Adams Ambulance Service and a CPR instructor.
She also had done private-duty nursing.
Besides her parents, she leaves two sons, Bryce M. Navom, serving in the Navy in Norfolk, Va., and Brandon W. Navom of North Adams, and a sister, Tammy Flaherty, and a brother, John Crosby Jr., both of Canaan.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Nancy Navom, who died Dec. 15, 2003, will be Saturday at 4 at WENK FUNERAL HOME, 21 Payn Ave., Chatham, N.Y. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1 to 4 at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in Canaan Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7 at First Congregational Church in North Adams. She also leaves two aunts and many cousins.
