Jessamine Agnes Taylor Chalifoux

Jessamine Agnes Taylor Chalifoux, 95, a former resident of Hopper Road, died Thursday at Williamstown Commons.

Born in Williamstown on Dec. 19, 1908, daughter of Jesse and Fairhope Burdick Prince, she was a lifelong resident of Williamstown and graduated with honors from Williamstown High School in 1926.

Mrs. Chalifoux worked for many years at the former Cornish Wire Co., and was a farmer and an outdoorswoman.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Williamstown and the Williamstown Senior Citizens Club.

She was the wife of the late George Taylor and the late Louis Chalifoux.

She leaves a daughter, Lydia Cicarelli of Clifton Park, N.Y.; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Jessamine Agnes Taylor Chalifoux will be held from Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel on Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at 10, with the Rev. Peter Daniels, pastor of the Williamstown Baptist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at Sherman Burbank Chapel on Monday from 9 until the time of the service.

Burial will take place in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions in Mrs. Chalifoux's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Williamstown through the office of the George M. Hopkins Funeral Home, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown, MA 01267.

She leaves a son-in-law, Henry Cicarelli of Clifton Park, N.Y; three grandchildren, Paula Cicarelli of Kingston, N.Y., Donald Cicarelli and his wife Margaret of Williamstown and Susan Cicarelli-Caputo and her husband Ralph of Clifton Park, N.Y., and six great-grandchildren, Emerald Gustowt of Madeira Beach, Fla., Elizabeth Gustowt of Waltham, Elaina Gustowt of Gloversville, N.Y., Paula Sue Gustowt of Kingston, N.Y., Chad Gustowt of Clifton Park, N.Y. and Heather Cicarelli of Williamstown.
