Mary K. Luca, 82, of Yonkers, N.Y., a native of Williamstown, died Jan. 27 at home after a long illness.
Born on April 20, 1919, daughter of Louis and Vienna Diadoti Tavelli, she moved to New York, where she attended college.
After raising her family, she spent 18 years as administrator of the medical office at Barnard College in New York.
She also served as a volunteer at the Veterans Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
After retiring, she worked part time and traveled.
She also became a master bridge player.
She leaves two daughters, Barbara Dodd and Joan Leibowitz, both of the Bronx; two sons, Robert Luca of Irvington, N.Y., and Paul Luca of Sonoma, Calif., and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Eugene's Church in Yonkers, N.Y., on Jan. 31 at 10. Calling hours were Friday at FLYNN MEMORIAL HOME in Yonkers from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
Burial in East Lawn Cemetery will be today after a service conducted at Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel at 11 by the Rev. Daniel J. O'Hear. Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of GEORGE M. HOPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 61-67 Spring St., Williamstown, MA 01267.
