Francis C. Logan

February 28, 2004

Francis C. Logan, 76, of Williamstown Commons, died Saturday at the nursing home.

Born in France on May 22, 1927, son of Robert Dupyre and Harriet R. Wood, he graduated from Stanford University in California with a master's degree in English literature.

He had resided in Arizona and California, and moved to Essex, Conn., in the 1960s.

He also had resided at Chester Village West in Chester, Conn.

Mr. Logan wrote books about his life in Arizona that were published.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Francis C. Logan, who died Feb. 28, 2004, will be held in Essex, Conn., at a time to be announced. There will be no calling hours.

FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247 is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nicole Logan of Essex, Conn., and Paris; four half-brothers in France, and many nieces and nephews.

Another brother, Alan Logan is deceased.
