Edna May Prindle, 87, died June 23 at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Pownal, Vt., on Sept. 10, 1916, daughter of George M. and Jennie Crandall Pratt, she attended schools there and graduated from the former Williamstown High School in 1934.
She had resided in Hartford, Conn., for about 30 years, returning to Berkshire County in 1992.
A homemaker, Mrs. Prindle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed corresponding with family and friends.
Her husband, Benjamin Prindle, whom she married Aug. 28, 1934, died May 10, 1982.
She leaves a daughter, Priscilla Kenyon of North Adams, and a brother, George Pratt of Pownal.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Edna May Prindle, who died June 23, 2004, will take place Saturday, July 3, at 1:30 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pownal, Vt. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday from 12:30 until the time of the funeral.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Sheila Lyon of Adams. A sister, Ruth Pratt Sumner Sweet, is deceased. She was a devoted wife and homemaker.
