Stephen A. Foss

Stephen A. Foss, 37, of 150 Western Ave. Altamont, N.Y., formerly of Williamstown, died Saturday at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y.

Born in North Adams on April 27, 1967, son of Nancy Jane Switzer Foss of Williamstown and the late Glenn A. Foss, he attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Mount Greylock Regional High School in 1988.

Mr. Foss was employed by Crossgates Mall, Gold's Gym and lastly by the office of the Center for the Disabled, all in the Albany area.

He previously had been employed by the Clark Art Institute and Oak Hollow Farm.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and was an avid Yankees fan.

Besides his mother, he leaves a sister, Sharon E. Bryan of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and a brother, Brian S. Foss of Jackson, Wyo.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service to celebrate the life of Stephen A. Foss, who died Sept. 18, 2004, will take place Saturday at 11 at First Baptist Church of Williamstown. Private burial will take place in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.

There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for Family Group Inc., Center for the Disabled, 314 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, N.Y. 12208. FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two nieces, Elizabeth Nancy Jane Bryan and Charlotte Rose Bryan.
