Linley Joyce Jones Parker Beckwith

Linley Joyce Jones Parker Beckwith, 69, of 33 Pine Lodge Park died Monday at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Monroe on Oct.19, 1935, daughter of Claude and Helen Ballou Wager, she attended schools there and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams.
She also graduated from the former licensed practical nursing program at McCann Technical High School in North Adams.
Mrs. Beckwith was employed as a nurse for many years at NARH, and later worked part time for the Visiting Nurse Assocation and Hospice of Northern Berkshire. She also had worked at the former Edgecombe Nursing Home in Pittsfield.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in North Adams.
Her first husband was Paul Jones, now of Bradenton, Fla.
Her second husband, George N. Parker, whom she married in 1968, died April 1, 1987.
Her husband, Donald Beckwith, whom she married in 1991, died Dec. 24, 1996.
She leaves three daughters, Paula Savory of Williamstown, with whom she resided, Wendy Lee of Bradenton, and Laurie Wood of Cheshire; three sons, Bruce Jones and Clifford Jones, both of North Adams, and Wayne Jones of Vergennes, Vt.; a sister, Verna Paquin of the town of Florida; 15 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service to celebrated the life of Linley Joyce Wager Beckwith, who died Jan. 10, 2005, will take place at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in the family plot in Church Cemetery, Florida. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for Shriners Children's Hospital through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
She also leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Brian Wager.
