Agnes Logan

Agnes Logan, 90, of Maple Street died Saturday evening at Williamstown Commons, where she was admitted Jan. 6.

Born in Valatia, N.Y., on May 31, 1914, daughter of John and Eva Thompson Grimes, she attended schools in Valatia and Chatham, N.Y.

Mrs. Logan was employed by Williams College for 50 years at Chi Psi Spencer House.

She also did private catering with her former husband, Harry Logan Sr., who died in 1999.

She was an active member of First United Methodist Church.

She also had been an active member of the North Adams Adult Day Health Center for the past four years.

She leaves her daughter, Barbara O'Neil of Williamstown; a son, Harry M. Logan Jr. of Lakewood, Wash; a sister, Katherine Graham of Albany, N.Y., and five grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Agnes Logan, who died Jan. 29, 2005, will be conducted Friday, Feb. 4, at 1 at First United Methodist Church of Williamstown by the Rev. Patricia MacHugh, pastor.

Interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 at GEORGE M. HOPKINS FUNERAL HOME 61-67 Spring Street. Memorials in her honor may be made to the North Adams Adult Day Health Center through the funeral home.
