Minnie R. Zanolli

Minnie R. Zanolli, 92, of Springfield died Tuesday at Sweet Brook Care Centers.

She was the mother of Michael Zanolli of Windsor.

Born in Springfield on June 13, 1912, daughter of Joseph and Irene Misisco Perella, she attended schools there. She had formerly resided on Tulsa Street in Springfield.

Mrs. Zanolli had been employed by the former U.S. Envelope Co. in Springfield, retiring from its successor, the former Westvaco, now MeadWestvaco.

She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph's Church in East Longmeadow and a member of its Women's Club.

She also was a member of the Springfield Golden Agers.

Her husband of 45 years, Dominick Zanolli, died in 1981.

Besides her son, she leaves a daughter, Carol A. Davis of Hampden; two brothers, Albert V. Perella of Hobe Sound, Fla., and John Perella of East Longmeadow; a sister, Elizabeth Zanetti of Springfield; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Minnie Zanolli, who died Feb. 22, 2005, will be Saturday at a time to be announced at FORASTIERE SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's Church, Dwight Road, Springfield.

Burial will be private in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 7. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
