Patricia E. Larabee

June 21, 2005

Patricia E. Larabee, 66, of 470 North Hoosac Road died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital.

Born in North Adams on Oct. 17, 1938, daughter of William H. and Ester D. Larabee Reed, she attended schools in Williamstown, including the former Williamstown High School.

Mrs. Larabee was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williamstown and a member of the Wildlife Society. She participated in bowling leagues at the Mount Greylock Bowl in North Adams.

She was an avid bingo and card player, and enjoyed gardening, traveling and flowers.

She and her husband, Frederick E. Larabee, were married Oct. 29, 1955, in Williamstown.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Joyce M. Trombley of Greenfield and Sherry A. Cantoni of North Adams; three sons, Arthur W. Larabee of North Adams, Frederick E. Larabee of Williamstown and Scott C. Larabee of Pittsfield; a sister, Virginia Lescarbeau of North Adams, nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Patricia E. (Reed) Larabee will take place Friday at 11 a.m. at the Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel in Williamstown with the Rev. Charles O'Brien officiating.

Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Wildlife Society or to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.

Survivors include nine grandchildren, Jason Louison, Charles Louison, Timothy Trombley, Roy Bennett Jr., Kevin Bennett, Jennifer Cantoni, Amy Larabee, Elizabeth Larabee and Rebecca Larabee, and a great- granddaughter, Mikayla Gates.

She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was centered around her family and home.
