Reginald C. Galvin

Reginald C. Galvin, 62, of 273 North St. died Sunday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.

Born in North Adams on July 10, 1942, son of Reginald H. and Jeannette Chadwell Galvin, he attended schools in Williamstown and graduated from Mount Hermon Preparatory School in Northfield in 1961 and received a bachelor's degree in ichthyology from the University of Massachusetts in 1965.

Mr. Galvin was employed by Essex Marine Research Center in Essex, Conn., for several years.

He returned to Williamstown in 1972 and opened the former Grey Hackle Fish & Tackle Shop in Pownal, Vt., which he operated for many years.

He leaves several cousins.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Reginald C. "Reggie" Galvin will be held at a time to be announced.

There are no calling hours.
