Gladys Ruth St. Pierre

Mrs. Gladys Ruth (Foster) St. Pierre, 79, of 71 Bachand Ave., Williamstown, MA, died Friday morning June 1, 2001 at the North Adams Commons. She was the widow of Henry St. Pierrre whom she married September 2, 1946. He died May 13, 1974. She was born in Adams, MA on September 3, 1921, a daughter of Addie (Chittenden) Foster and the late George Foster. She attended schools in Adams, North Adams and Williamstown, MA. She was employed at Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams, MA until her marriage in 1946. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Survivors include her mother Addie (Chittenden) Foster of Williamstown, MA (2) Daughters: Carleen Roberts & Gail Cook both of Williamstown, MA (1) Grandson: Wade Roberts of North Adams, MA (1) Brother: Paul Foster of Williamstown, MA (2) Sisters: Doris Foster of Williamstown, MA and Eleanor Cumm of North Adams MA, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother : Carl Foster.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM, at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams MA, with the Rev. Dr. Christopher R. Smith, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Williamstown, MA officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, MA. Calling hours at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA are Monday from 6-8 P.M. Memorial donations are suggested for the Oncology Unit at North Adams Regional Hospital or to the Western Massachusetts Alzheimer’s ASSOC through the Funeral Home.
