Helen Rose Ingham, 90, of 930 North Hoosac Road died Thursday at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Pittsfield on July 5, 1915, daughter of Jeremiah and Rose Mynarczik Winslow, she attended local schools until moving to Williamstown, where she attended the former Williamstown High School.
Mrs. Ingham was employed by St. Patrick & St. Raphael's Parish as a housekeeper, retiring in 2000. Before that, she worked at Long Trail Lodge in Rutland, Vt., for several years and at the former Treadway Williams Inn, where she was a waitress and manager of the inn's gift shop.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick & St. Raphael's and an active member of its former Ladies' Guild. She was a former longtime president of the Williamstown Friendship Club at the Harper Center and founder of the Rhythm Belles Line Dancers Group, which entertained for several local organizations.
She also was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Her husband, Clifford Ingham, whom she married Nov. 26, 1938, in St. Patrick's Church, died April 10, 1983.
She leaves a daughter, Joanne Ingham of Pownal, Vt.; two sons, Richard Ingham of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Gary Ingham of Williamstown; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Helen Rose (Winslow) Ingham will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 at St. Patrick's Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown. Calling hours will be Monday from 3 to 6 at St. Patrick's Church on Southworth Street.
Memorial donations are suggested for the American Cancer Society through FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Survivors include three grandchildren, Shannon Schneider, and Jennifer and Kimberly Ingham.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Steven Winslow, and by a sister, Genevieve Ashton.
