Harriet H. Schunder, 93, of 208 Green St., Northborough, formerly of Williamstown, died Saturday at home.
Born in New Ashford on Aug. 17, 1912, daughter of Elmer L. and Helen Hanley Haskins, she was raised in Williamstown. She graduated from the former Williamstown High School in 1930 and from Simmons College in 1934.
She moved to Northborough in 1946.
Mrs. Schunder was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Church in Northborough and the Northborough Garden Club.
Her husband, George D. Schunder, to whom she was married 59 years, died in 1997.
She leaves two sons, John R. Schunder of Northborough and Harry J. Schunder of Ashland; a brother, Philip Haskins of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Harriet Haskins Schunder will be private. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Great Barrington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Church Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box. 241, Northborough, MA 01532.
