Jane T. Goodman, 90

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Jane T. Goodman, 90, of 71 Sabin Drive died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2008, at home.

Born in Albany, N.Y., on March 15, 1915, daughter of Harley and Jane Shields Tennant, she grew up in Tennantsville, Gloversville and Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She graduated from the former Cazenovia Preparatory School, now Cazenovia Junior College, where she was a star basketball player and class salutatorian. She moved to Williamstown in 1940.

Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Goodman was employed as a secretary before she married.

She was volunteer for the Women's Exchange and the League of Women Voters. Her family misses her dearly.

She and her husband, Edward H. Goodman, were married in 1940.

Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Deborah de Gil and her husband, J. Manuel Gil Dominguez, of Williamstown, and a grandson, Manuel Edward Gil-Goodman of Tampa, Fla..

FUNERAL NOTICE — Private graveside services for Jane T. Goodman will take place at the family plot in Westlawn Cemetery in Williamstown.

Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
