Margaret Connors

Margaret Connors, 92, of 129 Southworth St. died Tuesday at her home.
Born in North Adams on Sept. 5, 1913, daughter of William and Anna Crowley Sullivan, she graduated in 1931 from Drury High School. She also graduated in 1934 from the former North Adams Hospital School of Nursing.
Mrs. Connors was employed for more than 50 years as a registered nurse, including private duty, Girl Scouts camp nurse and occasionally for the Visiting Nurses Association and for the Town of Williamstown schools.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a former member of St. Patrick's Church Ladies Guild. She was a supporter of the Order of Carmelite Fathers and the Sisters of Providence.
She was a nursing volunteer for the American Red Cross Blood Bank for more than 45 years, served as the Lions Club first aid nurse, and volunteered at Well Child Clinic and Brightside Home for Children.
She and her husband, John Patrick Connors, former owner of Connors Brothers Trucking & Moving Co. and Connors Bus Co., were married May 6, 1935, in St. Francis' Church, North Adams. He died Feb. 1, 1999.
She leaves three daughters, Carole A. Connors of West Roxbury, Mary E. Lagomarsino of Orlando, Fla., and Kathleen Connors of Williamstown, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Ellen S. Williams.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Margaret Sullivan Connors, who died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, will be Wednesday at 11:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire, or St. Patrick's Food Pantry, or the Village Ambulance Service, in care of the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
She also leaves two sons-in-law, Frank Budukiewicz and Thomas Lagomarsino; two grandchildren, Thomas H. Lagomarsino and his wife Sherri, and Bridgette Dallman and her husband Dave; two great-grandchildren, David Dallman and Elizabeth Dallman, and a sister-in-law, Marybelle Connors.
