Aidan M. Crane, 14

March 19, 2006

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Aidan Martin Crane, 14, of 32 Lindley Terrace died Saturday, March 19, 2006, at home.

Born in North Adams on Oct. 18, 1991, son of Sam Crane and his wife, Maureen Strype, of Williamstown, he was a student at Langan School in Albany, N.Y. Before that, he attended school in Williamstown.

He was a member of Williamstown Community Bible Church.

Aidan was a founding member of the Backyard Club, a summertime play group. He enjoyed crafts, swimming and bowling. One of his favorite pastimes was listening to and being with others.

Besides his parents, he leaves a sister, Margaret Crane of Williamstown, and his maternal grandparents, William and Catherine Timmins Strype of Williamstown; his great-aunt, Catherine Lane of Williamstown; his aunt, Mary Crane of Williamstown, and many friends.

FUNERAL NOTICE — Services to celebrate the life of Aiden Crane will be conducted Wednesday at 11 at Williamstown Community Bible Church by the Rev. Douglas Duncan, pastor. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.

Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, will be tomorrow from 5 to 8. Memorial donations are suggested for Shriners' Hospital for Children in Springfield through the funeral home, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
