Anne Lynne Bergeron, 63, of 73 Nutmeg Lane died Friday at North Adams Regional Hospital, where she had been admitted Thursday.
Born in North Adams on Aug. 7, 1943, daughter of Arthur and Pearl Gamache LaCross, she was a 1962 graduate of Drury High School and attended a hairdressing school in Pittsfield.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Bergeron was employed at one time as a hairdresser and also worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams.
She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church in North Adams.
She and her husband, Richard Bergeron, were married Aug. 27, 1983. He died Feb. 2, 2000.
She leaves a daughter, DiAnne Vallieres of North Adams; a son, Richard Jones of North Adams; a brother, Paul LaCross of Deerfield; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Anne L. Bergeron will be tomorrow at 7 p.m. from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
Burial will be at a later date in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 5 to 7. Donations may be made in her memory through the funeral home.
She also leaves a son-in-law, Jerry; a daughter-in-law, Carrie; six grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew and Megan Vallieres, Richard Jones III, and Stephanie and Tiffany Jones; and a great-granddaughter, Michelle Lynne Wood.
Mrs. Bergeron was a devoted wife and mother and loved cats.
