John Wallace Robinson

John Wallace Robinson, 73, of 1501 Hancock Road died Saturday at home.
Born in Burlington, Vt., on Nov. 6, 1933, son of George W. and Margaret Tudhope Robinson, he attended schools in South Hero, Vt., and graduated from Lyndon (Vt.) Institute.
He attended the University of Vermont in Burlington and graduated from Castleton (Vt.) State College. He received a master's in education from Springfield College.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he served in Alaska.
Mr. Robinson was employed by New Lebanon (N.Y.) Central High School as guidance director for 35 years, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the Williamstown House of Local History and of the Masons and served on the Williamstown Cable Committee. He also volunteered with Elder Services' Meals on Wheels program.
He leaves a son, John H. Robinson of Honolulu; two brothers, Henry Robinson and Arthur Robinson, both of South Hero; his former wife, Christina Angell of Townshend, Vt.; and three grandsons.
Another son, Seth Robinson, died in infancy.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for John W. Robinson, who died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, will be held at a later date. Burial will be in South Hero, Vt. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamstown House of Local History or to VNA & Hospice of North Berkshire, in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Stacey; three grandsons, Noah, Hale and Brody Robinson; his former wife and best friend, Christina Angell; and nieces and nephews.
