Marjorie L. O'Brien, 59

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Marjorie Lynn O'Brien, 59, of 174 White Oaks Road died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.

Born in Bridgeport, Conn., on March 23, 1947, daughter of Frances Hyde Weeks and the late William Weeks, she attended schools in Shelton, Conn., and graduated from Shelton High School.

Mrs. O'Brien formerly operated a home-cleaning business for about 10 years.

She was a devoted wife and mother.

She and her husband, Howard R. "Ron" O'Brien, were married March 17, 1990, in Pownal, Vt.

Besides her husband and mother, of Williamstown, she leaves a daughter, Gail L. Wright-Gallant of Monroe, Conn.; a son, Robert W. Doborwicz of Williamstown; a sister, Patricia Weeks of Williamstown; and four grandchildren, with whom she enjoyed spending time: Richard Gallant, Meghan Wright and Kathryn Gallant, all of Monroe, Conn., and Travis Doborwicz of Williamstown, and an aunt, Margaret Young of Dallas.

FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral to celebrate the life of Marjorie O'Brien, who died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams.

Burial will follow in Parklawn Cemetery in Bennington, Vt. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday morning from 9:30 until the funeral. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
