Eleanor Myers, 88, of 118 Church St., died Saturday at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Williamstown on June 30, 1918, daughter of Carleton B. and Ruby Field Hall, she graduated from the former Williamstown High School in 1936 and from the former North Adams State College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, in 1940.
Mrs. Myers was employed by the North Adams Public School System as an elementary school teacher for many years.
She leaves a son, Kenneth F. Myers of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Eleanor Myers, who died Saturday, May 5, 2007, will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire or to Elder Services of Berkshire County, both in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapel, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Myers also leaves a daughter-in-law, Lynn, and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Ruth Taft and Hazel Maxymillian, and a brother, Floyd Hall, are deceased.
