Paul George Paquin

Paul George Paquin, 73, of 91 Emerald Lane, a former 45-year resident of 28 Blackstone Road in the town of Florida, died Sunday at Sweet Brook Care Centers.
Born in Worcester on Oct. 24, 1933, son of Ernest and Helen Dion Paquin, he moved to North Adams as a child and attended the former Holy Family School.
An Army veteran, he was honorably discharged in 1956.
Mr. Paquin was employed by A-1 Lawn Service as a landscaper, retiring in 1995. Before that, he was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams and by General Electric Co. in Pittsfield.
He was a communicant of Holy Family Church and of its successor, Our Lady of Mercy Church, both in North Adams.
He and his wife, the former Verna P. Wagner, were married Nov. 22, 1960, in Clarksburg.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Claudia H. Birkland of North Adams and Alicia G. Mowery, stationed with the Air Force in Alexandria, Va.; a son, Paul E. Paquin of Monroe; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Paul G. Paquin, who died Sunday, May 13, 2007, will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the Alzheimer's Association of Western Massachusetts through the funeral home. Mr. Paquin also leaves four grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon Mowery, and Joshua and Amber Birkland.
Three sisters, Helen Mathews, and Alice and Blanche Paquin, and four brothers, Leo, George, Joseph and Thomas Paquin, are deceased.
